The Chancellor of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, at the start of the new semester of the incoming international students, visited their classes and talked to them.

Based on Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences public relations report, Dr. Alireza Zali, on the first day of the new semester for incoming international students visited their classes and talk to them.


The Chancellor of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences mentioned the role of knowledge and skills of the medical staff, powerful medical-diagnostic bases, improvement and expansion of educational indicators, ranking improvement of medical sciences universities of the country in the world ranking system, among the effective factors in increasing the number of international students from India, Pakistan, Iraq, and Afghanistan in the Iranian medical sciences universities, especially Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.

 In this meeting, Dr. Ali Haeri, the Chancellor’s Advisor, Dr. Esmaeil Tohidloo, the Executive Vice- Chancellor of International Affairs, were also present.  

 

Iraqi students admitted to this university in the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) started their new academic year on Thursday November 9, 2023. The rest of the Iraqi students who have the final acceptance to study at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and have not yet participated in the classes, will attend online classes from Sunday, November 12, 2023.   

It should be mentioned that over 250 students were present in the Thursday morning classes.
